From Uncertainty to Confidence:
My Home Staging Journey

After completing my undergraduate degree, I embarked on a quest to discover a career that truly resonated with who I was. With a deep passion for helping others, I initially pursued nursing. I cherished the moments of connecting with my patients, yet over time I realized that the world of nursing just wasn’t the perfect fit for me.

In the midst of navigating these new beginnings, life introduced its own creative detours. While my children were small and peacefully napping, I found solace and inspiration in the garage, refinishing furniture to sell for extra income. What started as a modest side project soon transformed into a creative outlet—a sanctuary where my love for design began to flourish.

Friends and family would often visit, captivated by the subtle yet impactful changes in my home renovations. Their genuine interest and excitement led to requests for advice on choosing paint colors, selecting furniture, and finding the perfect lighting. As word spread, these small projects grew into redecorating business offices and tackling custom home projects, each one affirming my talent for creating inviting spaces.

The turning point in my journey came after selling my last home. A good friend and esteemed realtor encouraged me to fully embrace home staging as a career. I was terrified—once again, feeling like I didn’t truly belong—but as I began receiving incredible feedback from clients, a spark of confidence ignited within me. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be, doing something I was not only passionate about but also truly good at.

Today, my path is one of transformation and empowerment. Home staging isn’t just about rearranging furniture or picking out decorative elements; it’s about helping people envision the future they deserve. Each project is an opportunity to tell a new story—one that reflects both the personality of the space and the dreams of its people.
